I'm Wareez Abiola Balogun, also known as Blaze, founder of Fotosbyblaze. For 5+ years I've been the retouching hand behind photographers and brands, doing skin work, color grading, and detail enhancement that gives photos a polished, natural finish.
My job is to make your image look like itself on its best day. Polished, natural, never overdone.
Fotosbyblaze is a Lagos-based photo retouching studio working with photographers and brands across Nigeria and worldwide. Registered as a limited liability company under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, the studio operates as a serious, professional practice.
We specialize in high-end beauty and portrait retouching: frequency separation, dodge & burn, color grading, and the small compositional fixes that most people only notice when they're missing.
Every image we deliver is one we'd be proud to put in our own portfolio. That's the bar.
Every retouch starts with a clean RAW and ends with an image that still looks like a photograph, not a painting.
Frequency separation, dodge & burn, blemish work, and skin texture preservation. Clean but believable. No plastic faces.
Full color grading, white balance correction, and mood work. From clean editorial to cinematic warmth, matched to your brand or vision.
Distraction removal, background cleanup, object addition or removal, and multi-image compositing for campaigns that need more than one frame.
No good/better/best packages. Every photo gets the same full retouch, the same level of care, and the same magazine-quality finish, because anything less wouldn't have my name on it.
Single price for individual portraits, beauty shots, and most retouching jobs.
For larger batches or projects that need a tailored approach.
Test edits available at 50% of the standard rate · Payment via LemFi, card, or crypto · 50% deposit / 50% on delivery for new clients
Blaze has an eye for the details I'd normally miss at 2am during edit season. Skin work is natural, turnaround is fast, and the result always matches the mood I had in mind when I shot it.
Has saved me more hours than I can count. I send the RAWs, I get back images I'd have needed two days to produce myself, with consistent tone across a full set every single time.
My go-to for anything that needs to look published. Skin never feels over-smoothed, and the color grading holds up across an entire shoot. Worth every naira.
Send files via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or WhatsApp (as document, not image, since WhatsApp compresses regular photos). Large batches through Drive or WeTransfer are easiest.
I prefer RAW (CR2, NEF, ARW, etc.) so I can push the files as far as they'll go. High-resolution JPEGs are also fine, but they have less editing headroom. Delivery format is your choice: JPEG, TIFF, or flattened PSD.
Single images and small sets: 1 to 3 business days. Larger batches scale from there. A full wedding or editorial set usually takes 5 to 10 days depending on volume. Rush is available for an added fee when my schedule allows.
Yes. One revision round within 3 days of delivery, covering anything that falls within the original brief. Major style changes or additional retouching beyond scope will be quoted separately.
I don't do free test edits, but you can send one image at 50% of the standard rate as a paid test. It lets you see the quality and style before committing to a larger batch.
I accept LemFi (preferred), cryptocurrency, and secure card payments via payment link. New clients: 50% deposit to start, 50% on delivery. Returning clients often work on full upfront or on invoice.
Whether it's your first time working with a retoucher or you're a returning client, send a message below and I'll get back to you within one business day.
